'Maggie' limited exclusive collection continues my Animalia exploration and opens up considered conversations around our complex relationships with animals and other sentients.  It reaffirms the reality we are not distinct from nature but rather a part of it.  We are nature. Blurring the line between bird and human forms conveys the belief everything is connected at the deepest level, it asks us to consider how we perceive and experience the natural world and to reflect on our role in creating a healthy equilibrium for all living things. The works encourage us to lean in,  engage a sense of belonging and advocate a more mindful conscious relationship with the natural world and ourselves.
